    Palm Island-- the staff and management, including the barge employees, are committed to ensuring a good stay and making people feel welcome. Of course the beach is the best one of all! The residents and guests are also very friendly.

    My week at Sanibel island was a great dissapointment....too many people, overpriced, too much traffic etc....Luckily i stopped at Palm Island on the way home...beautiful ocean views and sunsets, deserted beaches and a small quiet resort....I'll be back......

    A Peaceful Getaway

    Palm Island Resort was exactly what we were looking for - a quiet, beautiful place with comfortable, functional accomodations. The beach is perfect for walking and shelling. The resort owns property that provides fine nature walks. The lack of cars is especially pleasant. There are some good bar drinks and excellent shrimp in the restaurant.
