    Rental unit was very nicely furnished and very clean except carpet (needs replacing). We hope to return to the resort in the near future!

    We love to fish. We were able to land some 15inch flounder from the beach. Then grilled them! The kids really had fun! Very memorable!! Michael

    I stayed in Unit 3313 for 3 nites. I stayed in the twin bedroom and would like to see the bedspreads and blankets either replaced or laundered.

    Resort was very accomodating with special requests. The island was as beautiful as ever. Our unit was clean and nicely furnished. The service was great, except for the grumpy and rude bar tender. Overall, another great stay.

    Wonderful quiet vacation - designed for a getaway

    We have been to Palm island resort before and were returning guests. A two bedroom beachfront condo was rented - this is a vacation home rental rented out by owners when its not in use. The property was nice, but we spent most of our time on the beautiful, secluded beach and at the pool. We have multiple young children under 5, and it was an absolute pleasure to allow them to run around on the beach without worry. If we saw another family on the beach 100 yards down, it was a lot. A private, secluded space for your vacation - we cooked all our meals while there and only left the island twice.

    Great Stay, But!

    My family and I have stayed at Palm Island for the past 16 years. We have always had a great stay. This year Kelly help me with our reservations and my numerous phone calls to get everything perfect for our 5 children and their families stay. As usual she went beyond her duties and made our stay memorable again. We were disappointed in one of the units 3312 the dishwasher broke and leaked on the carpet and my son and his wife and twins were without a kitchen for an afternoon and the next morning. Other than that we all had one of the best stays at Palm Island and if we can afford it next year we will be back. Thanks again to Kelly and the staff at the reservation desk.

    Extended Family Getaway

    Where can 4 families and their patriarch getaway together? Look no further than Palm Island Resort. Every family had a wonderful time together and alone in our own separate villas. Everyone, from age 4 to 77, enjoyed the resort activities - lounging, swimming, splashing in the pool or ocean, fishing, tracking lizards, armadillos and manatees, walking on the beach, and delicious dinners at Rum Bay Restaurant. The villas and island setting are absolutely beautiful and well cared for. Our families have vacationed at Palm Island Resort for 15+ years and will be back next year.

    We love Palm Island....we have stayed in 3313 for the past 3 years....we love the location and convenience of a bottom unit...toured other units this year and saw that owners have updated. We noticed that 3313 had put in new tile and new carpet (why carpet?) My only suggestion would be for the owners to continue with updating. Some fresh paint on the walls, the bedding needs to be udated as well as the master bathroom. We noticed that in the master bathroom that the toilet was not secure to the floor after the new tile was put in. Also the medicine cabinet was coming off of the wall! The kitchen could use some new supplies. Knives, serving dishes....simple additions to make it easier for guests to feel at home.

    Maybe an updated flat screen tv and a tv in the master bedroom would be an added amenity. Also only the second bedroom has a blow dryer it would have been nice to have one in the master bedroom. Some updated dvds and music again would be nice. Overall our stay was great and the accomodations worked perfect for us.

    Being right outside the pool was a plus and of course the sunsets are the best !!
